Nkonge Hill, Burundi - 12oz(340g)
This coffee has a syrupy sweet grape taste with a lovely finish. Drinking this coffee should bring forth gratefulness, adventure and hope!
It is grown and produced by neighboring farming families in the northern province of Kayanza. The region’s high altitude and acidic soils provide the ideal conditions for growing coffee. Kayanza is renowned for its cinematic views, winding dirt roads and ever-changing East African sky. Bananas, maize, potatoes, beans, cassava, sweet potatoes and peas can be found growing alongside coffee here, wrapping the hill in every imaginable shade of green.
It is built around adventure. That adventure is the story of Long Miles Coffee Project. Ben and Kristy Carlson had a vision that was way bigger then themselves and they moved to Burundi to follow the call. You can read more about this incredible journey on their website here.
