ASPROGUATE is an organization that represents more than 1,900 small producers from the region. Its purpose is to responsibly transfer benefits to sustainable value chain coffee producers. In this area of Guatemala, many husbands leave to work in the US and send money back to their families, so the farms represented are majority women owned farms.

It's great coffee. We love it and order it often. We would also love if there was an Ethiopian bean that was available in 5 lb bag at a similar price point (of course, we understand if that's not possible).
